Jordan Lucas is an affluent, Black, high school senior counting down the days until he can escape high school — and the bullies that plague him there — to attend his dream college, Princeton. When his prideful cousin, EJ, is humiliated by a white bully, he recruits Jordan, and Kevonte, a bussed-in student from the other side of the tracks, to play a robbery prank on the bully. When the prank goes bad, leaving two white students dead, the boys struggle to avoid being caught and are each forced to confront the personal demons that come with being Black in the suburbs.
Fredrick Leach, Writer | Director
Fredrick Leach is a talented, young, filmmaker who has an interest in telling unique stories about outsiders. This interest was shaped by his experiences as a bi-racial kid growing up in Texas, where he often felt he did not fit in with his classmates. After graduating college from Southern Methodist University and spending three years teaching through Teach For America, Fred moved to LA, where he quickly made a name for himself as a unique and gifted young writer. Over his first five years in the city, he shot several short films, and wrote and directed for the trailblazing web series company, Black&SexyTV.
Edwin Walker, Producer
Edwin Walker is a creative visionary with a passion for entertaining the masses with innovative, mindful, and quality content. He started his budding entertainment career in his hometown of Chicago, IL where he began his journey as a storyteller. His credits include several short films in which he has written, directed and produced. "Surviving Brotherhood", "Lyfe & Def: A Reckless Love Story", "The Interns", "Love Escapes Us", "Day One" and "It's Just Thanksgiving Dinner" just to name a few. He produced the winner of the 2014 Essence Magazine Short Film Contest, along with producing one of the finalist films for the 2011 Coca-Cola Refreshing Filmmaker’s Award.

Tangier Clarke is a motion picture editor, post production supervisor, and media production instructor from Los Angeles, CA. He studied computer science and film; earning a B.A. in Film from U.C. Berkeley, and an M.F.A in Television Production from Loyola Marymount University. Tangier brings 18 years of professional experience working on feature films, episodic narratives, documentary, industrial, promotional, lifestyle, teasers and trailers spanning broadcast, cable, social media and SVOD (Subscription Video On Demand) platforms and networks.
